The Valdora PHX triathlon frame set.  Brand new for 2011.  

As with Valdora's other carbon frame sets, the PHX climbs and descends with precision. It has deep aero tube shapes.  It allows for a low aero position if so desired.  Stiff, yet forgiving.  Excellent power transfer.  The geometry was developed specifically for triathlon and not time trials with triathlon as an afterthought. 

Technology:  Valdora carbon frames are constructed of only the highest grade carbon and resins.  Utilizing Valdora's proprietary Optimum Composite Resonant Ratio Technology (OCRR), Valdora has achieved a ride quality and power transfer that is among the best in the world.  Every piece of carbon is hand trimmed meticulously placed where it belongs to achieve the tuned ride characteristics triahletes demand.  Valdora frames have earned the highest possible strength and fatigue certification from EFBe in Germany.  In fact Valdora was only the 3rd manufacturer to earn this certification for carbon triathlon frames.  

Design - from  computational fluid dynamics, wind tunnel testing, elite / pro sponsored rider feed back, Valdora does what it takes, how ever long it takes, to get it done right.

Build Specs - headset Cane Creek style 36/45 (comes with frame), braze-on front derailleur, replaceable rear derailleur hanger, 68 mm English threaded bb shell, internal cable routing, requires standard brake calipers, 27.2 mm seat post diameter.

Frame material - Intermediate Modulus High Strength Carbon Composite.

Finish - Flat black with green accents.  Low key, stealth appearance.  *Pictured here with a carbon seat post fairing.  Trim-able for use with any 27.2 mm seat post for increased aerodynamics and one piece frame, seat tube appearance (w/out having to cut frame).  Can be used with PHX1 frame set as well.
